The Story: Desperate Settlers, Severed Skulls, and a Slumbering Colossus
Deep in the shadow of jagged peaks lies the Black Steppes, a windswept badland that has already swallowed one human civilization whole. Undeterred by the bleached bones of their predecessors, the tight-fisted iron barons of the Iron Accord have funded Camp Northreach, a miserable frontier outpost reeking of sweat, manure, and rain-soaked rawhide.
Survival here balances on a razor’s edge. The settlement’s commander is paralyzed by the trauma of past military blunders, his second-in-command is a bloodthirsty swordmaster bent on an orcish purge, and the local mine is choked with blood-draining monstrosities.
Worse still, the surrounding wilderness is divided between three volatile orc nations. The brutal Skulltaker tribe mounts severed heads on marsh stilts, the forest-dwelling Beast Masters feed live captives to a multi-headed river hydra, and the peaceful Deadwater druids struggle to defend a dying lake.
When dark visions reveal a ritual to reanimate the miles-long skeletal remains of Titan’s Fall, your party must step into the crossfire of clashing warlords before the frontier is reduced to ash.
