The Story of Nevermore

Deep within the Forbidden Forest lies Nevermore, shrouded in enchanted mist that deters all but the most determined visitors. Years ago, brigands razed the town, leaving nearly everyone dead—except for one man, Professor Klaus. Devastated by the tragedy and nursing wounds from his narrow escape, Klaus devoted years to undoing the massacre. Guided by the teachings of Everbreath, a minor Goddess of Undeath, he created a lightning-powered device that brought the town’s residents back to life. Now, Nevermore thrives in eerie defiance of death itself, its undead inhabitants living peacefully under Klaus’s watchful care.

But this new life came at a cost. Early experiments resulted in monstrous undead—The Bad Batch—who now haunt the Forbidden Forest, spreading terror and threatening to expose Nevermore to the outside world. To make matters worse, Kharon, a vengeful revenant, seeks to destroy the town once again, claiming justice for the torment Klaus inflicted on her and her comrades during his trials. As players, you must navigate the town’s delicate balance of peace and peril, deciding its ultimate fate.

Griddless .jpegs so they can easily be used in other VTT software like Roll20, as well as gridded home-print A4 .pdfs, and A1 or A0 gridded poster print files for professional printing at places like Staples or Office Depot.
