Contact Seafoot Games by emailing bebandluke@seafootgames.com and we’ll get back to you in as soon as we can! Luke and Beb want you to be happy with your maps and adventures, and are here to here to help if you have any questions / need help downloading or setting the battlemaps up. 🙂
Heck, we’ll even point you to some free content if you’re strapped for cash! We’re so thankful that GMs like you help us do what we love for a living, so we want to do whatever we can to make sure you’re 100% satisfied ^.^
Yes! They’ll work with any VTT site or software that allows the upload of .JPEGs. Each map is less than 5MB, which works great with a free Roll20 account (we personally love FoundryVTT and recommend buying it as one of the best applications).
Sadly, we haven’t yet added walls, lighting, sound, etc. to all our maps directly for those platforms. But, if you grab our Quarantine Bundle with over 520 maps, it’s now FoundryVTT ready with walls, lighting, sounds, and some animations! If you’d like to have a look at how to install them, you can find our instructions here. Plus, if you want to try running one of the FoundryVTT ready maps, download and try a free module here!
You can print them at home using our easy home-print .PDFs (they have instructions included at the front). If you like, you can test out printing this free map, once you download it from DriveThruRPG. Otherwise, we recommend taking the maps to stores like Staples or Office Depot for affordable professional printing (or, if you’re in Australia like us, Office Works or Kmart).
Absolutely, and have fun doing it! You just need to give us credit when doing so. If you have any questions about this check out our super short and simple personal use license, or contact Seafoot Games by emailing bebandluke@seafootgames.com 🙂 Credit-wise, we’re happy with a verbal shout-out, our business name on the video itself, or a written credit in the video description ^.^
Each map is downloaded as a few different file types. This includes a 72dpi .JPEG file for VTTs, a 300dpi .JPEG for poster printing (such as A1 or A0), and a .PDF document for home printing. The latter document has a few extra pages at the front with printing instructions, to make the process extra-easy.
Yes, all of them do but there’s multiple files for each map, some of which are ungridded. For example, the large poster .JPEG and easy-home printing .PDF files both come gridded. The files that don’t come with grids are the additional high-resolution .JPEG and the low-resolution VTT .JPEG (this is because VTT applications often add their own grid).
Our standard TTRPG battlemap license is for personal use only. For example, if you’ve bought the Quarantine Bundle or our other works on DriveThruRPG, this will apply. It means you can use the map to play with your friends, but you can’t sell it in any way, shape, or form.
YES! We offer two different kinds of licenses: the Creator Commercial Use License and the Print Reseller Commercial Use License. The first lets you use our maps and assets in your adventures, the second lets you resell printed copies of our maps. Click on either to learn more about them, we’d love it if you signed up! 🙂
So far we only sell digital content, but you’re welcome to print them as A1 or A0 posters. We’ve found office supply or printing stores are great for this!
