You’ve been approached by the last member of a secret order to the god of knowledge, once upon a time the order would collect ancient and forbidden artifacts and scrolls to keep this knowledge safe and away from prying eyes. However three years ago the order was betrayed by a young member who sought more for himself, he gave the dread pirate the location of the temple in exchange for one of the artifacts the temple held.

And so their temple was raided by the dread pirate and his men. It left the temple burned to the ground and almost all of the cult dead. The last member has spent the last three years in search of this traitor and he has now found him.  

He hides in the dread pirate’s hold, a small cavern off the coast, and now is the perfect chance to take his revenge and hopefully recover some of the artifacts, but he needs your help. The dread pirate and most of his crew are out raiding the southern coast and they’ve left their hold mostly unguarded but for a handful of pirates, his “pet” sea serpent and the traitor who after having studied many of the artifacts over the last couple of years has become a powerful but tainted wizard.
